  • Contact your local approved MOT center either by phone, online, or in person. You'll need your vehicle registration number and preferred test date. Book well in advance of your expiry date to allow time for any potential repairs.

  • You have the right to: - Watch the test from a safe distance - Receive a clear explanation of any failures - Choose where to have repairs carried out -Appeal the test result within 14 days -Request a partial retest if repairs are done within 10 working days -See the current and previous MOT certificates

    • Refuse any repairs and take your vehicle elsewhere
